Virtual conference for ESL teachers!
Confidently make connections with EL students, families and colleagues, help your newcomers embark on their journey with engaging lessons, and plan like a pro for mixed-proficiency classes!
3 days of ESL teaching strategies specifically for K-12 ESL teachers!
The Confident ESL Teacher Summit 2022 is the second annual virtual conference hosted by Ieva Grauslys of simplyieva.com and features interviews and workshops with experienced ESL/ELL teachers who believe that teaching English learners does not have to be overcomplicated and overwhelming.
This year's FOCUS is to provide attendees with confidence in finding connections with students, colleagues and families, embarking on the ESL/ELL newcomer teaching journey, and supporting your students in mixed-proficiency level classes and content areas.
The topics, ideas, freebies, and action steps you will learn over these three days are all designed to help you gain confidence in and inspiration for teaching your ESL/ELL students in a way that allows you to feel empowered and enjoy life both in and outside the classroom.
Even if the dates don't work for you, sign up anyway and I will share other options with you!

Helping ELs access content area instruction
I am an ESL teacher, teaching consultant, and owner of simplyieva.com and The ESL Teaching Roadmap membership, where I provide help to busy ESL teachers with ready-made resources, actionable tips, and meaningful coaching.
I have been a teacher for over 14 years and have worked with English learners at various stages of their English learning journey. As a former English learner myself, I bring my background and unique perspectives to the classroom and am able to simply and easily connect with both ESL students and educators alike.
I firmly believe that the best teacher is one who constantly learns and therefore you can find me feeding my curiosity by learning from people, books, and travels.
I am super passionate about teaching English and helping others do so, too!
And that is why I created the Confident ESL Teacher Summit - to help you gain confidence in your craft, to share tips and strategies that work, and to inspire you to have an empowered year.
WHEN
The Confident ESL Teacher Summit will run from August 9-11 with a variety of presentations to choose from each day.
WHERE
Tune into the summit from anywhere with Internet access. Our recommendation is to watch on the desktop.
PRESENTATIONS
Presentations will be about 20-30 minutes in length. The presentations will be available only on the designated days to encourage you to stop waiting for the right time and take action along with hundreds of other ESL teachers.
ALL-ACCESS PASS
After registering, you can also upgrade to the All-Access Pass. That means you'll get access to presentations for one full year as well as bonus trainings, and exclusive discounts on teaching materials. Not to mention 15+ hours worth of professional development (PD certificate included). You won't want to miss it!
The Confident ESL Teacher Summit is for both new AND experienced ESL teachers, who work with students in K-12. If your desire is to learn actionable and practical strategies and ideas to implement with English learners all year long, this summit is for you!
As teachers of English learners, we have our own special needs that general education teachers don't deal with. The variety of language backgrounds, teaching situations, student numbers, and proficiency levels make our field very unique. But with the help of an incredible, diverse, and experienced team of ESL educators from all over the country you will have a fantastic professional opportunity to learn and implement new strategies in your classroom. Not to mention the sense of inspiration and empowerment that an event like this will leave you with.
If you are ready to start your ESL teaching journey (or if you've been at this for some time and would love a fresh perspective from teacher experts who GET IT), then this virtual conference is perfect for you!
We get it, life happens (appointments, plans, etc. - who can avoid them?) Upgrade to the All-Access Pass for 24/7/365 access to the sessions through July 2023. You can watch at your own pace and you can re-watch your favorites as many times as you need to. (Think: you learned something in the summer but are not ready to implement it until next February - with an All-Access Pass, you can watch as much as your heart desires!). Plus, with the All-Access Pass, you get a Professional Development certificate (15+ hours), as well as exclusive trainings and classroom resources to use throughout the year.
Yes! With your All-Access Pass, you get 15+ hours of PD certificates to serve as a record of your time. This is a fantastic way to not only learn what you personally want to learn but also to have the document that you can add to your continuing education files!
No problem! Shoot an email over to hello@simplyieva.com and we'll get back to you within 3 business days.
