How it all started
When I first started teaching English learners in a small district, I quickly learned two things:
a) Having a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language is great and important, but it does not help if you need someone to bounce your ideas off of and there is no one that understands what you do.
b) Having no curriculum to follow per se and to constantly look for materials takes up time. LOTS of time. And energy. Which eventually compromises your sanity and taps into your confidence. No, thank you.
I dreamed of a community of ESL/ELL teachers who share their desire to be heard and understood. A community where we can learn from each other and find ready-made materials to support our ESL/ELL newcomers/beginners. A place where ESL/ELL teachers can regain their time, sanity and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have access to The ESL Teacher Boss Society membership?
With the Light Monthly Plan, you have access to the ETBS as long as you choose to be a member (i.e. as many months as you pay $25/month)
With the VIP Annual Pass, you have access to all the materials and coaching in the ETBS membership for one full year. After that, you will need to renew, if you wish.
What if I am unhappy with the membership program?
We would never want you to be unhappy and always welcome your feedback! However, due to the nature of the materials - i.e. digital downloads - no refunds will be offered for the membership. Please email your concerns to simplyieva@gmail.com and we will make sure to address the issues as soon as we can.
How do I know if The ESL Teacher Boss Society is for me?
